Oh OK great - well, that must be why it sounds better than most computer generated music I've heard. I've studied a little music theory and programming. I think it might be possible to come up with some interesting algorithms based on symmetry - and then breaking it where appropriate, which is what ...

Algorithmic music apps

Congratulations on the launch of your new Worlds Kaleid app - can't wait for it to show up on the Play store. Regarding the music in this video: https://youtu.be/KnEBL6JXR04 I assume this was generated by software you wrote? Any plans for releasing it as an app or program also? I 'm very interested ...

I recommend doing it the same way I did, which is outlined here: http://www.software3d.com/GreatIcos.php You're right, the convex core (not "complex core" :)) is too small to be useful here. What you want is 12 5-triangle cups (like one cap from an icosahedron) to fit inside each part. http://www.s...

Great Icosahedron - complex core

I've made several Great Icosahedrons and have noticed that it isn't quite as stable as say a Great Dodecahedron. I'm using index cards or thick colored cardboard, but it still has a tendency to deform a little. I thought of gluing a complex core inside to add some stability. For the Great Icosahedro...

Cricut paper cutting machine

Has any one tried converting Stella nets into files that can be imported to a Cricut machine?

I tried converting a .JPG into a .SVG in Adobe Illistrator, but it didn't look very precise.

Flexagons

Anyone here know what these are? And if it's possible to make nets for them in Stella 4D?

If you don't know what I'm talking about - google it. Try out a hexa-hexa flexagon for starters.
