I am fairly new to polyhedra but, quite recently, I have made several models in wood of the various basic shapes.
I am including one particular model, that I have just completed, below, to which I wish to add a suitable base ... My problem is adding a sort of skirt (say about 25mm wide) to the base of the cross section as shown in red. The model has been calculated using a radius of 180mm and the base I hope to make using 200 mm radius. The section is easy to construct .... but I am having difficulty with the mitre angles of the skirt
I feel using a section of the model as its base would be quite decorative.

P.S. If anybody else makes models from wood I am sure we can swop a few hints and tips
