3D Net of Truncated Tesseract (19-Tat)

The truncated tesseract is number 19 in the list of uniform polychora in Stella4D, with the abbreviated name "tat". It has 24 cells: 8 truncated cubes (orange) and 16 tetrahedra (red). This model represents an unfolded net for the 4D polytope, that is, the cells have been unfolded from 4D back to a "flat" 3D model. This kind of models can help us to understand how these polytopes fit together.

See this tutorial for some comments on obtaining nets for building paper models of 4D polytopes.

Here is what the model would look like folded up, if we had a fourth dimension in which to fold it. Four orange cells have been hidden to reveal internal detail. Can you see how it would fold up?
